Lake Region Yacht & Country Club is proud to be the host course for the Duramed FUTURES Tour, the LPGA’s developmental tour, season opener the Florida's Natural Charity Classic. One hundred and forty-four of the best women golfers in the world compete March 19th to the 21st, 2010 for their share of a $100,000 purse and the chance to play their way onto the LPGA Tour.

The 2009 winner was Jean Reynolds from Newnan, GA. Reynolds carded rounds of 69-73-70 to win at 212 (-4), edging Song Yi Choi of South Korea after three return visits to the 18^th tee for a playoff. Choi carded rounds of 64-73-75 to finish second. This is Reynolds's first tour win as a professional
